Yonetta Bloomfield MSW, LCSW
Yonetta obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Studies from Montclair State University, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work at Rutgers University. She has over 15 years of experience working with families and children in their homes, as well as in the K–5 and middle–high school settings. Additionally, Yonetta has several years of experience working in the field of addictions with clients diagnosed as presenting with co-occurring disorders.

Yonetta was born and raised in the sunny and beautiful island of Jamaica. She is a fun-loving, compassionate, easy-going, free-spirited individual. Yonetta enjoys reading, hiking, going to the beach, and listening to music. She has an innate passion for helping others, and advocating for those who often face challenges that are rooted in societal structural barriers. Yonetta embraces cultural competence and diversity in every walk of life, which is also an integral part of her Jamaican heritage as affirmed in the Jamaican motto: “Out of Many; One People”. She believes in the good of ALL people, in the right of ALL mankind to be able to live in a world that promotes human dignity and integrity.
