Lisbette Gonzales is a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Clinician of Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has been working in mental health since 2017. Lisbette earned a Master’s of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2019. She has extensive clinical experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, and other co-occurring conditions. As a drug and alcohol counselor, Lisbette helps individuals and families struggling with addiction. She has 15 years of experience working with families and children at daycares, elementary schools, and as an in-home therapist.

Get to Know Lisbette

Lisbette was born in Lima, Peru. She joined her father and the rest of the family in 1997 in the United States. She loves to learn and apply new techniques to improve the emotional symptomology of her clients. She enjoys reading and mindfulness techniques, such as guided meditation and grounding techniques. She has experienced many of her client’s struggles and feels confident that she can help them overcome fears, stress, and other challenges that prevent them from reaching their highest potential and freedom.
