Kerry has experience in individual and group therapy with an ability to listen without judgment and form trusting relationships with her clients. She is passionate about helping people to make the changes they seek to live their best lives. Kerry believes in approaching the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative one, using an empathetic, strengths-based approach. She incorporates mindfulness and stress management skills into the therapeutic process, to help clients regulate their emotions and become more resilient for more effective interactions and to enjoy meaningful interpersonal relationships.

Kerry chose to pursue her long-awaited dream of helping people with challenges to their mental and emotional health, returning to graduate school for a master’s in social work after retiring.

Outside of her passion for the mental health profession, Kerry enjoys spending time with her husband, adult children, grandchildren, her dog Dixie, and Woodrow the cat. She treasures her friendships, is passionate about animals, loves to travel, cook, and read.
