Juan Carlos received his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University. He also completed his Master of Social Work degree at Rutgers University. Juan Carlos has 13 years of experience ensuring the safety, permanency, and well-being of children and families. He recognizes that each family is unique, and that they are their own expert. Juan Carlos uses evidence-based treatment modalities for adolescents and adults. Juan Carlos is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and has experience working with diverse populations.

His main goal is to assist individuals of all ages in developing functional coping skills that will assist them to enjoy their lives to their fullest potential. Juan Carlos focuses on helping his clients to build insight into how their body shows up, communicates with us and can be an agent to promote growth and healing. Juan Carlos collaborates with clients from all intersections of life with sensitivity and cultural competence.

Juan Carlos is proud of his family and community. He enjoys reading and writing poetry. Juan Carlos enjoys cooking for family and friends. Juan Carlos is a soccer fan. Juan Carlos enjoys listening to classical and modern music.
