During graduate school, she completed her practicum experience at an adult partial care program, and completed her internship experience here at Integrated.

Prior to entering the counseling profession, Rosemaur spent many years working with horses. She found her love and passion for horses as a young child, and began riding at the age of 5. As the years passed, she started volunteering at a nonprofit therapeutic riding facility, and has taught riding lessons for over 10 years. Rosemaur holds two certifications through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.); she is a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) and an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL).

Rosemaur’s approach to therapy is eclectic, as she understands the importance of flexibility for each individual’s needs. As a foundation, she believes in providing an open and supportive setting through a person-centered approach, while integrating evidence-based practices including Mindfulness and Acceptance based strategies, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Rosemaur is a lover of all animals, and enjoys spending time with horses, her dogs and cats. She also enjoys baking, spending time outdoors, and refinishing furniture.

“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.’ I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.” – Carl Rogers
