Throughout Grace’s social work career, advocating against oppression and social injustice has remained a central focus. Grace aims to empower each client to recognize their own individual strengths and worth as a person. A Brene Brown quote from The Power of Vulnerability has served as a pillar for her practice:
“You are imperfect, you are wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.”
Grace has always had a passion for working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. She spends time volunteering with a local non profit focusing on developing work skills for adults with disabilities. Outside of work, Grace likes to spend as much time as possible by the beach, particularly with a light hearted fiction book.
