Lisa Kepets MSW, LCSW
Lisa earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, and then went on to complete her Master’s in Social Work at New York University. She gained valuable clinical skills and experience in a Brooklyn community counseling center where she worked with adults and adolescents, as well as couples. She served clients struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other life adjustments. To gain greater insight and understanding of her clients, Lisa furthered her education at Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, earning a one-year degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
Lisa’s approach to psychotherapy is an eclectic one, drawing from a psychodynamic perspective, which acknowledges the influence of past experiences and early relationships, but utilizing cognitive and behavioral techniques as well. She hopes to chart a course that is individually tailored to suit the needs of each client in an environment that feels empathic, safe, and supportive.
