Olivia Paone LSW, C-IVT

Outpatient Clinician

Olivia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Criminal Justice and Social Work from Rider University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Olivia became a licensed social worker (LSW) in 2025. She completed internships with NAMI Mercer, where she developed an informative booklet on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and a domestic violence agency, where she worked closely with survivors and their children.

She has experience providing therapy in both outpatient and partial care settings, working with children, adolescents, and adults. Olivia utilizes a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, client-centered therapy, and trauma-informed care. Her therapeutic style is conversational, focusing on teaching coping skills and empowering clients to build self-efficacy.

Olivia discovered her passion for mental health through her own personal struggles and the realization that mental health is often not talked about enough. This experience inspired her to become an advocate for those who feel their voices are not heard. Olivia has always been a caring and empathetic person, and strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered.
