Kayla Lax LSW
Kayla earned her Bachelor of Science from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and her Master of Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. She first interned at ICCC’s PHP/IOP and is currently an LSW working with children, adolescents, and young adults.
Kayla’s warm, collaborative, and strength-based therapeutic approach empowers her clients to build resources and resilience to navigate challenging situations. She utilizes a wide range of evidence-based practices, including CBT, mindfulness, and play therapy. Kayla supports her clients in managing anxiety, anger, and emotion regulation while helping them develop positive self-talk.

Outside of work, Kayla is a compassionate individual who enjoys spending time with family and friends. She believes that every person has the capacity to draw on their inner strengths to overcome life’s challenges, and she is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where her clients can thrive.
