John holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Electrical Engineering, and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, with a specialization in Holistic Counseling. He is a NJ Licensed Professional Counselor 37PC00447500, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.

John was the Director of Westborough (MA) Youth and Family Services for 23 years. During that time, he provided individual, couple, and family counseling to children, teens, adults, and seniors. He also provided clinical supervision to graduate interns, counselors seeking independent practice licensure, and experienced counselors. John focuses his work on integrating the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual parts of ourselves and our lives in order to live as our most authentic selves.

John has been trained in a variety of trauma treatment modalities such as EMDR, Thought Field Therapy (TFT)/Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also called Tapping, and Somatic Experiencing. He has completed the Introductory Level Course in Synergetic Play Therapy.

John has been studying Native American Spirituality for over 20 years. John’s early training as an Electrical Engineer has informed his practice as a Solution Focused Counselor who likes to see concrete goals and changes in his work with clients. John has also completed a four-year training in Homeopathy and so is able to bring a complementary medicine perspective to his work.
