Get to Know Jennifer
Jen grew up on a small farm in northern New Jersey, yet she was also drawn to the culture and excitement of New York City. She grew fascinated with what makes us tick, and studied psychology at Columbia. Soon after graduating, Jen found yoga and meditation, and cultivated a practice that continues to this day, including 20+ years of yoga teaching experience.
Yoga taught Jen her to care for herself, for others, and for the natural world we all share. But wanting to do more, and inspired by family and friends in the medical field, she enrolled in nursing school and received her BSN from Rutgers in 2009. Years later, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Jen saw the reality of unmet mental health needs bearing down on our communities.
Returning to her initial interest in psychology, she enrolled in Wilkes University for her MSN. Jen now bridges the healing modalities of east and west to offer holistic, evidence-based mental health care to her patients. When not at work, Jen enjoys yoga, playing in her garden, cooking for family and friends, hiking, dancing, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with her beloved husband, 12-year-old daughter, and three cats.
