Erica earned her Bachelors Degree from Stockton University in Social Work , earned her Masters Degree from Monmouth University in Social WorK and is a member of Phi Alpha National Honors Society. She has worked with individuals, families, and couples ranging from children (ages 10 +), adolescents, and adults struggling with many diverse issues; ranging from mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression, relationships, grief and loss, infectious disease, co-occurring disorders, self- esteem, and/or life changes.Erica has previously worked at an adolescent girls group home as a counselor, worked at a health clinic in a hospital setting that specialized in offering services to people who were HIV + as well as people who were at risk for HIV/ infectious disease, where she provided individual and couples counseling working toward healthy relationships, open communication, de-stigmatizing HIV, safe sex counseling, as well as preventative care/counseling while working alongside a medical team to monitor overall health. Erica has also worked in a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Facility working with adolescents and adults as a clinician providing individual, family, and group counseling for mental health and co-occurring disorders. The outpatient facility is also where she transitioned to being a Program Coordinator for the Adolescent Program.

Erica’s style of therapy is individual talk therapy with adolescents and adults using cognitive, humanistic, and behavioral styles while incorporating mindfulness, self-compassion, motivational interviewing, reframing thoughts, CBT, DBT, non-judgmental, and a client-centered approach. She strives for an individualized approach to therapy while being aware and mindful of meeting clients where they are currently at, and helping be a positive support and active listener.
