Alexandra Chrystal LSW
Alex earned her Master’s in Social Work from Monmouth University, with a specialization in Children and Families. Alex is a Licensed Social Worker, as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher. She has experience working with both adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings. Alex’s work emphasizes curiosity, empathy, and self-compassion. By exploring present-day challenges and the roots that connect, clients are able to find deep healing.
Alex’s approach is one where clients can explore attachment, past experiences, and unconscious processes and how they might play a role in our relationships, self-image, and ways of coping. Alex understands that these processes are not limited to the mind but manifest through the body as well; she uses a somatic approach with her experience in yoga to help clients access a holistic way of healing. Through mind-body exploration, clients can develop a greater sense of awareness of the ways trauma, stress, and unresolved conflict affect the body.

Your life is meant to confront everything that holds you captive. Don’t sit at the bottom of the well, not caring about salvation. Listen to the voice within calling to you. Reach for eminence beyond your own maturity!”
“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”
