Alexandria Atamian MSW, LSW

Therapist

Alexandria is a Licensed Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Kean University before spending more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, including over a decade as a successful restaurant owner. Driven by a passion for helping others, Alexandria returned to school to earn her Master’s degree in Social Work from Monmouth University.

During her graduate education, Alexandria completed specialized coursework in trauma and addictions counseling. She is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) as well as independent clinical licensure.

As a clinical intern at Integrated Care Concepts & Consultation (ICCC), Alexandria provided individual therapy to both adults and children. She facilitated groups within the Adolescent IOP/PHP program and co-facilitated an outpatient recovery group for adults navigating substance use disorders, alcohol use disorders, and compulsive behaviors.

Alexandria believes that therapy is one of the highest forms of self-care and views seeking support as an act of courage and strength. Drawing from both her extensive background in hospitality and her clinical training, she is skilled at building trusting relationships that create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. She utilizes an integrative, person-centered approach, meeting each client where they are while tailoring treatment to their unique needs, strengths, and goals. Her focus is on empowering clients to develop insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
