Rebecca received her master’s degree in social work at Monmouth University. She completed her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition while minoring in Human Development of Family Studies. Rebecca has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults presenting with many different mental health challenges. Rebecca has experience in group home settings, intensive out-patient programs, partial hospitalization programs, individual, and group therapy. She loves working with children and adolescents as she feels it is a crucial part of their lives for growth and development while sometimes facing hardships and loss.

Rebecca is passionate about helping others become the best versions of themselves through empowerment and psycho-education. She supports clients through a trauma-informed and intersectionality lens. Her approach with clients in their healing journey include empathy, respect, non-judgment, mindfulness, professionalism, and collaborating with the client to ensure their voices are heard.

Rebecca decided to change her career to Social Work because she is passionate about human and social rights and fighting the stigma against mental health. In her free time, Rebecca likes to hang out with her family and friends, watch TV, read books, workout, and relax with her cat Coco.
