Mary is passionate about all aspects of health and a firm believer that we have choices every day that can improve our quality of life, including the activities that we do, thoughts that we think, foods that we eat, and relationships we hold.
Mary has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults at the Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient level of care. The therapeutic style Mary uses tends to emphasize the use of skills such as mindfulness, self-compassion, and thought reframing. On top of teaching skills, she also believes that assisting her clients in gaining self-awareness and insight by holding a supportive, nonjudgmental, and empathetic space is crucial on their path to wellness.
Mary currently holds credentials as a Licensed Associate Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Board Certified Coach of Health and Wellness, and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).
Mary’s personal journey of creating a healthier mind and body has inspired a sense of gratitude and passion to help others achieve the same. She also enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling to different places around the world, and spending time with friends and family (especially her dogs!)
