Kristen graduated from Georgian Court University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. She continued her education at Georgian Court University and graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Associate Counselor. She completed her practicum and internship here at Integrated Care Concepts & Consultation during graduate school. Her goal is to work collaboratively with the client to provide a place where the client feels safe and open to work through challenges using different tools and techniques.
Kristen’s approach to therapy is eclectic, flexibility is very important in order to best fit each individual clients needs. She provides individual talk therapy with children, adolescents, young adults and families using Play/Creative Therapy interventions, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused techniques, Gestalt Therapy techniques, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions.
Kristen enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog. She is a huge animal lover. She enjoys baking, spending time outdoors, watching and playing baseball, and being creative whether it is decorating or being crafty.
Kristen’s goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental, and empathetic safe space for individuals to explore and express themselves. Kristen is committed to working collaboratively with the individual to build on their strengths and assist them in the direction of wellness and healing.
