Buddy Behavior

Is your child bright, kind, and charismatic but having some trouble with friends on the playground or in school?

Join us as we continue to promote social competence, confidence, and growth, but this time with a buddy! Integrated Care Concepts and Consultation welcomes your children, ages 5-8 years old, to join our recent Chit
Chat & Chill graduates, ages 10 – 13 years old. Our graduates will serve as mentors and buddies in accompanying your little ones on their social skills building journey. Social skills learned during the course of the program include: identifying emotions, communication (listening, following directions, as well as asserting needs and expressing emotions), transitioning between activities, resolving conflict with peers, sharing, taking turns, self-esteem, and being a good friend. Each skill is paired with a mindfulness activity that helps children become
more attuned to themselves and their surroundings. We look forward to helping your children grow their social skills in an interactive and dynamic setting!

Tuesday from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Chit, Chat & Chill

Let’s promote Social Competence, Confidence, and Growth!
Interested clients will be engaging in a 9-week therapeutic, educational, and interactive group which promotes the development of several core social skills, such as: communication (verbal, non verbal), active listening, rapport building, conflict resolution, teamwork, and more. Clients will be prompted to practice each skill through fun, collaborative art and play activities. Each session will incorporate mindfulness meditation skills to facilitate presence, engagement, and attunement with others. These skills will start our meetings and aid in gently
transitioning the clients from activity to activity. Our newfound social skills will truly be tested in our final week, when clients and parents are invited to join us for social superlatives and a graduation party!
