Ayurvedic Medicine


Ayurveda is a modality of treatment founded in India based off of the Vedic philosophies; it translates to mean (Ayur-life) and (Veda-science). There are specific qualities, characteristics, traits and body expressions that categorize each individual into three different Doshas: Kapha, Vata, Pitta. In our society, most individuals are bit of a mixture, but there is usually one or two that are expressed more predominantly than the others. Once you have your classification based on your typical state of feeling, you are able to offer your body rebalancing treatment and care to compliment your state of natural feeling, empower yourself, and deepen your personal healing.

A regular routine may include:

  • Morning meditation and breathing
  • Yoga asana exercises
  • Dry loofah body scrub followed by massaging oil into the skin
  • Body cleansing with herbals, food and oils
  • Daily mantra chanting
  • Daily tongue scraping
